RAG Week Success

This week, Imperial College School of Medicine celebrated its annual RAG week.

The week kicked off with Commuters Collect and RAG games  on Monday, a trip to Mahikis on Tuesday. Wednesday saw the infamous RAG invasion, which sees students completing a series of ridiculous challenges around London. The Circle Line Pub Crawl, a favourite among final year medics, saw hundreds of scrub-clad medics raise money  between stations, whilst completing the circle line challenge (pints at every pub, shots on the corners).

Last year, RAG week at ICSM raised an incredible £32,000. This year, ICSMSU President Shiv Vohra says ‘hopes are high to raise £50,000’  for the Winnicott Foundation.

The Winnicott Foundation is a charity that aims to raise money to improve care for sick and premature babies by supporting neonatal units at St Mary’s hospital, Paddington, and Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea hospital, Hammersmith.
